Kids and pets

Notoriously difficult to get good portraits of. You can't reason with them, and more often than not can't even cajole them into doing what you ask. The trick is to catch them in the act of being themselves. Just like Candid Camera. And hope they are in a good mood.

Sometimes you can cajole them into being hammy, but their attention span is very limited so you have to work fast before they lose interest...

But capturing the magic portrait is not impossible. And even more gratifying when it's a challenge!
